How the game works
Players take turns drawing cards until someone finds an Exploding Kitten. That player is eliminated unless they can use a Defuse card to stay in the game. Defuse cards turn the losing draw into a chance to keep playing, while other cards help players manage the deck, alter the flow of a round or avoid drawing immediately.
What gives it character
The theme is deliberately playful: dangerous cards are represented by explosive cats, and Defuse cards use distractions such as laser pointers, belly rubs and catnip sandwiches.
